How do introverts enjoy life?

October 19, 2016 by Joe Leave a Comment

Like many others, I am an introvert. I discovered this when I was younger when all my friends wanted to drink and party in night clubs and I just wanted to go the theaters and watch the latest Hollywood blockbuster.

The main difference between introverts and extroverts, is that extroverts love to be surrounded by others. Introverts love to be surrounded by people too. However after a while, they reached their limit and need to be alone. As a result, being near too many people for too much time causes anxiety and drains valuable energy.

Therefore I enjoy spending time alone. It is not usual to spot me in a cafe sipping an espresso while reading a novel. In fact, that’s how I usually spend my weekends. It allows me to feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

In addition to spending time in a coffee house, I’ve written a list of my top-ten favorite activities that I enjoy to do every day.

Reading

Whether it’s reading a book, a website, a blog etc. It’s doesn’t matter. As long as I can be in my bubble, I’m happy.

Books, Book and more Books.

Writing

It can be a blog post, an article or a journal entry. The art of writing reduces my anxiety and keeps me focused on my goals.
